Atomic Holiday Bazaar 2013

atomicpostcard_(2)It’s almost here!

One of my favorite weekends of the year and I can’t wait! I am counting the days til we get to set up our booth display and take part in this cool event… But until then, I’ll be the one finishing up as many pieces of art as I can!

It’s Atomic!

Atomic Holiday Bazaar: 8 years of indie craft that won’t make you puke.

I’m happy to say that my partner Michelle and I have been accepted to this year’s Atomic Holiday Bazaar!! This amazing event takes place on Saturday and Sunday, December 14th & 15th, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mark your calendar now – if you are in the Sarasota-Bradenton area this is an event you will not want to miss!

Held in Sarasota’s historic Municipal Auditorium, Atomic is a show comprised of a little bit of everything: indie craft, retro kitsch, art, jewelry, vintage, home decor and more. The show is produced by Adrien Lucas who always goes above and beyond to make sure Atomic is the very best it can be on every level. This is my favorite show of the year and I can’t wait to be there!!

Check out the photos I’ve included from last year – this year we’ll have a booth space under the name of our recently opened vintage Etsy shop, relic salvation. We’ll have a mix of found objects, rescued relics, salvaged elements and vintage furniture, as well as my art and Michelle’s art!

Post-Show Blues

This time last week my partner and I were set up at Folkfest St. Pete… It was hotter than _______ (insert appropriate expletive here) and there were growing pains as the show was held in a new location this year, but overall I was happy to be out there with my art and we had a good weekend. As is always the case after a big show like this, I have felt a little sad it was over so quickly. We ended up winning 3rd Prize for our booth display so I thought I’d share some photos… More close-up photos of new art to come in the next week or so…
